The Tri-Council for Nursing Joins CDC Experts to Prepare Health Care Professionals for the 2024-2025 Fall/Winter Respiratory Virus Season

CDC experts to present and discuss current immunization recommendations during a webinar on September 16

SILVER SPRING, MD – The Tri-Council for Nursing, a longstanding collaboration involving the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the American Nurses Association (ANA), the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, and the National League for Nursing, is joining the Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC) for a webinar titled Getting Prepared for the Fall/Winter Respiratory Virus Season: Immunizations, Treatments, and Tools for the 2024-2025 Season on September 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. ET.

This 60-minute session will feature experts from the CDC who will present timely data, discuss current immunization recommendations, and explore treatment options to protect health care professionals, their patients, and the broader community from influenza, COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

Speakers include senior advisor for health strategy at CDC, Charlene Wong, MD, MSHP and epidemiologist for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the CDC, Caroline Pratt, MSN, MPH. The conversation will be moderated by senior policy advisor at ANA, Holly Carpenter, BSN, RN.

The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A session for health care professionals to directly engage with CDC experts. Additionally, continuing education credits will be offered for various professions. To learn more, and register for this webinar, visit this page.
