Nominations & Elections Committee

The Nominations and Elections Committee, a standing committee of the ANA Membership Assembly, is comprised of seven members Constituent and State Nurses Association (C/SNA) or the Individual Member Division (IMD) elected by the ANA Membership Assembly.

The responsibilities of the Nominations and Elections Committee as defined by the ANA Bylaws (Article V, Section 5.c), can be found in the profile below. 

2025 ANA National Elections - Additional Call for Nominations is Now OPEN

Friday, January 31, 2025 -- Due to insufficient nominations, the ANA Nominations and Elections Committee has issued an Additional Call for Nominations for the position of Director-at-Large Recent Graduate and for member positions on the Nominations and Elections Committee. The deadline to submit via the online application is 11:59pm ET, February 17, 2025. The Additional Call is for these positions only:

ANA Board of Directors

Directors-At-Large:

  • One (1) Director-at-Large, Recent Graduate
    (A recent graduate is one who has graduated within five years prior to being elected to office.*)
    *Note: ANA Bylaws, Article IV Board of Directors, 2c: There shall be five directors elected at-large; one of whom shall be a designated for a staff nurse; and one of whom shall be designated for a recent graduate of an RN licensure program. 

ANA Nominations and Elections Committee

  • Four (4) Member positions

The term of service for all positions is January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.
