Q. How do I know when I've entered a secure area on the Web?
A. In Netscape Navigator 3.0 and earlier, the key icon in the lower left corner of the browser, which is normally broken, is made whole. In Netscape Navigator 4.0 and later and in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the normally open padlock icon becomes shut. Also, the URL listed on the address line of your browser may begin with "https" rather than "http."
Shopping Online
Q. What is the shopping cart? How do I use it?
A. The cart is the "virtual" version of a shopping cart, such as you might use in a grocery store. To select books from the catalog you want to buy, click on "add to cart" under those books. When you're finished shopping on each page, click on "Continue Shopping" to go on to another page, or "Proceed to Checkout" to pay for your purchases and complete your order. The "Continue Shopping" and "Proceed to Checkout" buttons may be found at the top and bottom of any of the catalog pages.
Q. How do I know what's in my cart?
A. If, at any time, you want to see which books you have chosen, just click the"View My Cart" icon at the top of any page. You will then go to a page that displays all of the books you've added to your shopping cart. You can then remove books, go back to the catalog to add more, or proceed to the checkout.
Q. Do you offer quantity discounts?
A. Yes, We offer a quantity discount off of the list price when 20 or more of the same title is purchased.
Q. How much do you charge for shipping and handling?

Q. What is your return policy?
A. Returns will be accepted within 30 days of receipt provided books are in unmarked and salable condition. Include a copy of the original packing slip when making a return. All returns should be shipped via a trackable method such as UPS or registered mail.
Note: Some items are non-returnable (as noted).
Q. Can I still phone in my order?
A. Sure. In addition, to the "credit card online" payment option, you may select "credit card offline" or you may pay by check (payable to American Nurses Association) or by purchase order, if your order is greater than $500. Orders may be mailed, faxed, or phoned in. You may still wish to complete and print out the online order form so that you'll have all the details of your order handy.
