Nurses Feel Their Units Are Not Properly Staffed, According to Poll
The American Nurses Association (ANA) would like to thank its website visitors who participated in the biweekly "Have Your Say" poll. This poll asked nurses if they felt that their unit was properly staffed.
According to the results, only 28% felt their unit was properly staffed while a significant majority—72% of the respondents—did not feel that their unit was properly staffed. This was based on the 393 total submitted online.
To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at bottom of the left margin. A new poll will be posted on a biweekly basis, and results from the previous week will be made available.
