Nurses Report Having a Safe Patient Handling Program According to Poll
The American Nurses Association (ANA) would like to thank all NursingWorld visitors for participating in its biweekly "Have Your Say" poll. This poll asked nurses if their healthcare facility have a safe patient handling program.
According to the results, 64% of the respondents say they have such a program while only 36% responded that they do not. This was based on 194 responses.
To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at bottom of the left margin. A new poll will be posted on a biweekly basis, and results from the previous will be made available.
