Majority of Nurses Do Not Use Electronic Personal Health Record Products, According to Poll

The American Nurses Association (ANA) would like to thank its website visitors who participated in the biweekly "Have Your Say" poll. This poll asked nurses if they keep their own health information in an electronic health record product.

According to the results, only 14% responded to this practice while a significant majority—86% of the respondents—do not keep their personal health information in an electronic format. This was based on the 347 total number submitted online.

To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at bottom of the left margin. A new poll will be posted on a biweekly basis, and results from the previous week will be made available.
