Slim Majority of Nurses Report Not Having Their Own Professional Liability Insurance, Reports Online Poll
The American Nurses Association (ANA) would like to thank its website visitors who participated in the biweekly "HAVE YOUR SAY" poll. This poll asked nurses if they have their own professional liability insurance.
According to the results, about 47% confirmed having liability insurance while only 53% said they do not have such coverage. This was based on 311 online respondents.
To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at bottom of the left margin. A new poll will be posted on a biweekly basis, and results from the previous week will be made available.
