The 2010 NDNQI® Data Use Conference is the annual meeting place where conference attendees build valuable relationships with other attendees and find opportunities to preview the latest research as it relates to addressing organizational performance to improve patient outcomes.

The conference goals are:

  1. Identify the impact of the Nursing Workforce on Patient Outcomes.
  2. Illustrate how electronic health records can be used to collect data for quality improvement and for decision support in providing best practices.
  3. Describe successful innovations employed to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital acquired conditions, such as pressure ulcers, falls, and nosocomial infections
  4. Recognize statistics, reporting and dissemination approaches that optimized staff understanding of the information presented.
  5. Identify successful strategies in using NDNQI data for nursing administration that demonstrated the value of nursing.
