October 2012 HYS Poll
11/20/12
The American Nurses Association would like to thank its website visitors who participated in the October 2012 "Have Your Say" online poll. The poll asked respondents if they were planning to go back to school for a nursing-related degree.

Results of the poll, based upon 1915 responses, show that 35% plan to pursue a BSN, 31% plan to pursue an MSN, and 11% a doctorate degree in nursing.

To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at the bottom of the left margin. Polls are posted on a monthly basis, with results from the previous poll made available on the Nursing Insider and the poll results archives.

"Have Your Say" polls are snapshots taken during a brief period of time that reflect the views of NursingWorld.org users who choose to share their opinions on a variety of issues. The polls are not designed or intended to reflect a statistically valid representation of the population and should not be used as such. Data used to report the results were based on responses submitted between October 16, 2012 and November 16, 2012.
