The American Nurses Association (ANA) would like to thank its Web site visitors who participated in the July 2010 'Have Your Say' online poll. The poll asked if they would consider becoming a nurse educator.

According to the final tally, 69% said they would consider becoming a Nurse Educator, while 20% identified themselves as having that role already. Only 11% did not express interest. The results were based on 1174 online votes.

To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at the bottom of the left margin. Polls are posted on a monthly basis, with results from the previous poll made available on the Nursing Insider and the poll results archives.

"Have your Say" polls are snapshots taken during a brief period of time that reflect the views of users who choose to share their opinions on a variety of issues. The polls are not designed or intended to reflect a statistically valid representation of the population and should not be used as such. Data used to report the results were based on responses submitted between July 1 and July 31, 2010.
