The American Nurses Association (ANA) would like to thank its website visitors who participated in the biweekly "Have Your Say" poll. This poll asked visitors if they felt that nursing units were properly staffed.

According to the results, only 28% felt their unit was properly staffed while a significant majority—72% of the respondents—did not feel that their unit was properly staffed. This was based on the 393 total submitted online.

To participate in the new poll, go to the NursingWorld homepage and answer the new poll question under the section titled "HAVE YOUR SAY" at bottom of the left margin. A new poll will be posted on a biweekly basis, and results from the previous week will be made available.

"Have your Say" polls are snapshots taken during a brief period of time that reflect the views of users who choose to share their opinions on a variety of issues. The polls are not designed or intended to reflect a statistically valid representation of the population and should not be used as such.
