The Association of Nurses in AIDS Care, an ANA organizational affiliate, is conducting a survey to help better understand the knowledge nurses have about laws regarding HIV exposure and transmission and the impact of these laws on the patient-provider relationship. The closing date for the HIV Criminalization Survey is midnight Oct. 3. Nurses from all practice areas and work settings are encouraged to participate, and you do not have to have experience in HIV care to participate. This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The University of Ottawa Research Ethics Board has approved this study (Ethics file #H03-13-04B).
To thank you for your contribution to the research project, you will be given the option to enter your name in a drawing to win an iPad or similar tablet valued at approximately $500 USD. Your name and email are requested only if you chose to participate in the drawing for an iPad and will not be linked to your survey response.
