Join ANA for a free
educational summit on nurses’ use of health information technology March 21, in partnership with three other organizations.
“At the Crossroads of Patient Care: Health Information Technology for Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses” will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 21 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, 301 Hospital Drive, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. The Medical Center is also a sponsor, along with the American Nursing Informatics Association and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
Among the topics are:
- Using health IT to exchange health information
- Transforming health care delivery through health IT
- Working with electronic health records to improve care
- Educating patients through health IT
The summit will include a “Town Hall discussion” on “Making health IT work for you.”
