Fourteen ANA members from 13 states serving as “Clean Air Ambassadors” recently joined forces with a diverse coalition of physicians, clergy, labor and tribal leaders, and social justice advocates to meet with their members of Congress to call for greater protections from smog, coal ash, carbon and other dangerous air pollutants. Their mission: To urge lawmakers to protect the health of millions of Americans by adopting strong air pollution standards and protect the Clean Air Act.
