The American Nurses Association's National Center for Nursing Quality offers the following information received from the National Quality Forum (NQF):
As part of the National Priorities Partnership's (NPP) dual role in providing input and catalyzing action around national healthcare priorities, NPP formed specialized efforts—called Action Teams—focused on setting goals and facilitating coordinated action within targeted areas of health and healthcare improvement. The work of these multistakeholder Action Teams complement HHS’ Partnership for Patients aims to reduce avoidable hospital readmissions and potentially harmful maternity care.
The Action Teams are eager to engage with interested stakeholders to learn from other efforts in the field and identify opportunities for further alignment, collaboration and sharing of best practices. To that end, NQF, on behalf of each NPP Action Team, is hosting public web meetings to share the Action Teams’ work, promote dialogue, and facilitate connections with others to advance these efforts.
