ANA President on School Nurses Radio Program

The American Nurses Association (ANA) President Karen A. Daley, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN, appeared on the National Association of School Nurses (NSNA) /BAM Radio Network during National Nurses Week to discuss the Institute of Medicine’s Future of Nursing report and the leadership opportunities she envisions for nurses.

Daley also emphasized the importance of advocacy and collaboration among nurses to improve the health care system, and highlighted the planned expansion of school-based health centers as a partnership opportunity for school nurses to improve care for students.
