The National League for Nursing (NLN)
has a call for proposals
for its Nursing Education Research Grants Program
. Principal investigators must be current NLN members, either through their school or through individual dues payment. All studies must relate to one or more of the NLN’s Priorities for Research in Nursing Education. In addition priority will be given to studies evaluating the success of strategies for ensuring a diverse student population, provide a mentoring relationship for novice researchers and/or are multisite. Award amounts will vary with the nature of the study proposed. Proposals may be submitted for amounts up to $25,000. The NLN/MNRS dissertation award is $2,500. Dissertation proposal budgets exceeding that amount may also be considered for the NLN Nursing Education Research Grants. The proposal must be submitted electronically as a Microsoft Word document no later than 4:00 p.m. (EST) on February 23, 2012
