Environmental Health Mini-Grant Available

The American Nurses Association (ANA) Center for Occupational and Environmental Health provide the following information received from The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments:

The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, through the University of Maryland School of Nursing, is announcing a mini-grant opportunity.

The Mini Grant program will provide up to $8,000 to support innovative efforts that expand and deepen the involvement of nurses in environmental health issues related to education and practice; and to promote advocacy activities.

Applications are due on Monday, May 17, 2010 by 5 PM EST. Applicants of accepted proposals will be notified by June 1, 2010. Applications must be sent by E-mail only to Brenda Afzal at bafzal@son.umaryland.edu.
