The Center for American Nurses invites you to participate in an important research study that explores handoff processes used by nurses.
Handoffs are essential components of patient care delivery, but if handled ineffectively, can place patients at risk. The purpose of this survey is to identify current practices relative to handoffs and to identify areas that are problematic with handoffs. The results will be used to develop educational and further research opportunities regarding these challenges. The input from professional nurses is important to advance knowledge and improvements about processes such as the handoff.
