Public Comment: Pediatric Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice

The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and the Society of Pediatric Nurses (SPN) announced today that the unified document, Pediatric Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice is available for public comment. The document is available on both NAPNAP’s and SPN’s website (www.napnap.org and www.pedsnurses.org).

The document is intended to guide, define, and direct pediatric nursing practice. It is also an essential resource for nursing faculty and students, other healthcare providers, researchers, and those involved in funding, legal, policy and regulatory activities.

Please go to www.napnap.org or www.pedsnurses.org to retrieve and review the draft document posted for public comment. Please provide feedback using the online evaluation form. All comments must be received by November 9, 2007.
