, the Center for American Nurses (CAN) presented the issue of Lyme disease. According to the Center for Disease Control, over 20,000 people every year are affected by Lyme disease. Although most common in rural and suburban areas in the northeastern and Midwestern states, cases have been reported throughout the United States and throughout Europe.
