American Nurse Today Editor-in-Chief Pamela F. Cipriano, PhD, RN, FAAN draws on more than 30 years of clinical practice, management, teaching, and research experience to guide the direction of the publication. Dr. Cipriano is supported by an editorial advisory board representing the top leaders in nursing from around the country. Dr. Cipriano notes that, "The nurse authors, nurse editors, peer reviewers, as well as all the staff involved with the development of American Nurse Today have worked to create a journal that will address many topics that are vital to best nursing practices and presented as succinct, practical, evidence-based information in an exciting, new, easy-to-read format. American Nurse Today represents a fresh new voice of nursing and will be an information source that nurses can depend on every month."

"We have assembled some of the best minds in nursing to develop American Nurse Today and I am personally very excited to communicate directly with our members through this new journal," said ANA President Rebecca M. Patton, MSN, RN, CNOR. "Dr. Cipriano, the editorial advisory board and the staff at HealthCom Media will undoubtedly set the standard for the most useful and creative editorial content available to the profession."

"ANA and its staff are deeply committed to the success of American Nurse Today," said Linda J. Stierle, MSN, RN, CNAA,BC, Chief Executive Officer of the American Nurses Association. "In addition to a monthly message from the ANA president, the association contributes three features each month: Issues Up Close; Environmental Health and Safety; and Notes from the Hill. Greg Osborne, President of HealthCom Media adds, "We at HealthCom Media share the same vision as ANA as it relates to enhancing the profession of nursing. We are pleased to be providing ANA members with this contemporary and truly innovative resource as a benefit of membership."

American Nurse Today will be distributed monthly as a benefit to the members of the American Nurses Association, and is available to all practicing nurses and other non-ANA subscribers.
