The Leadership Council is an integrated approach to convening a representative body of Constituent/State Nurses Associations (C/SNAs) and the Individual Member Division (IMD) that deliberates, strategizes and advises on professional issues and organizational matters in collaboration with the Board of Directors, and reports to the ANA Membership Assembly.
The Leadership Council is comprised of two representatives from each C/SNA and the IMD:
Each C/SNA president or the president's designee shall be a C/SNA-ANA member.
- the president, or designee
- the chief staff officer, or designee

The Leadership Council will be convening its first meeting in the fall of 2016.
